The 2009 British Columbia Junior Girls Basketball Championship Tournament is being held March 5-7, 2008 in the City of Nelson. The host venues include L.V. Rogers Secondary School and Trafalgar Middle School. The banquet, team registration, and coaches meeting and orientation will be at the Prestige Lakeside Resort & Convention Centre. The practice facility is at Selkirk College, Tenth Street Campus Gym.

The tournament draw will be posted once it has been set. The 16 participating teams will be seeded into the draw following a conference call held with the B.C. Junior Girls Basketball Association Executive and Zone Reps.
